Premier League - Spurs confirm Ramos appointment

One day after leaving Sevilla Juande Ramos has been appointed the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur replacing the recently sacked Martin Jol.

Ramos, who left the UEFA Cup champions on Friday clearing his way for a move to north London, has signed a four-year deal with Spurs, the club announced.

"I greatly appreciate the opportunity to work as head coach at Tottenham Hotspur, a club with a great tradition and history," Ramos said.
"Ever since I started my coaching career I have wanted to work in England. It is my sincere hope that I can repay the faith the Spurs Board has shown in me." More detail......
